November is my favorite month of the year. The leaves have changed color and start falling to the ground, the evenings turn cold, chesnut praline lattes are back on the menu, and time on the clock falls back into place. Colors of gratitude fill the air.
The days move on and they become steps on the journey away from the pain of grief and toward hope of new beginnings and being reunited one day.

1. Have you ever kept a gratitude journal? Yes... it's here.
2. Hosting Thanksgiving at your house? Yes, but I'm not sure it will fall on the traditional Thursday as dear husband probably will have to work.
3. Favorite food from the Thanksgiving meal? Italian sausage stuffing with turkey gravy.
4. What one thing in nature are you most grateful for? Colors! I can't imagine seeing nature without the pops of so many amazing colors.
5. Pumpkie Pie? Yes, but I prefer layered pumpkin pie with a whipped cream and cream cheese layer.
6. Traditional cookbook? um...I use traditional recipes that we enjoy every year.
7. Oven-baked or deep friend turkey? Traditional oven-baked!
8. Thanksgiving left-overs? Oh yes! I usually enjoy the left-overs more than the main meal since I'm usually too tired to enjoy much eating at the main event.
9. What is one household product you are most grateful for? It's very difficult to pin this down to one product, but I'm going to say toilet paper. I am very appreciative of each and every little square!
10. Are you most grateful for home cooked meals or restaurant meals? I'm most grateful for the gathering of people I love at a meal more than any meal itself. Home cooked or restaurant prepared is nourishment to the body, but love is nourishment for the soul.
