We bought our neighbors a shipped box of frozen meats and it arrived with a block of dry ice and gave us the perfect opportunity to have fun experimenting. Safety came first with heavy gloves a lesson on the temperature being so cold that it will actual burn our skin.
The girls loved watching it steam cold fog. We added it to some orange soda and the concoction bubbled and smoked. We added some vanilla flavored heavy cream on top of the dry ice and watch it quickly form into some ice cream.
Overall, the dry ice was a hit and blessing our neighbors with food was especially wonderful.
